Here is my baby brother, Dan, and his fiance, Nikki. Dan proposed last Friday night, and last night, Nikki's parents hosted a small family gathering at their home to celebrate. At least my parents didn't have far to travel - the party was right next door. Yes, indeed, Dan is marrying the "girl next door." I love this picture I took last night - the smiles on their faces are so genuine.
Alainna couldn't be happier - she keeps going around telling people, "Guess what? Nikki's going to be my AUNT!"
